ANJEYANADRI BETTA, ANEGUNDI, The birth place of Lord Hanuman...

Hi my dear readers,

I'm back here with yet another blog and an amazing experience to share.

Before starting, hope everyone are amazingly doing well in life and greeting's to everyone.

A astonishing experience I'm about to share here is a beautiful place called Anjeyanadri Betta near Hampi, Hospet. Before jumping to details of place. I would like to share a bit of how it all started. One Sunday, my wife insisted let's go out. And we planned to go to "Anjeyanadri Betta" at 4pm after a good nap. Before that I had heard about the place but was not aware about the exact location. So as usual with guidance of our google baba's help 'google map', marked destination place has Anjeyanadri Betta. Interesting it showed us around one and half hours and landed up little outskirts of Gangavati, Koppal with no road ahead. My wife started telling it's okay we had amazing time together, traveling to the place; consoling meπŸ˜‚.

Anyways we had to take u-turn and move back towards Hospet. When we enquired about the 'Anjeyanadri Betta' with passerby, we had to take left turn to reach the destination instead of right. After around 15km return travel we reached somehow to 'Anjeyanadri Betta' a much awaited amazing view point at around 6.15pm. Again unfortunately it was time to close the temple and instructed by parking lot person to leave the place. We had sugarcane juice and went back to our home. This was all our first little experience to go to Anjeyanadri Betta.

On 20th Feb 2022 which was Sankasti Chaturthi, Sunday this time planned to go to Anjeyanadri Betta with divinity for divine blessings. This time we reached the place at 4pm. It is located at a distance of about 5km from historical site of Hampi. Anjeyanadri Hill (Anjani Parvat) is considered to be the site of the monkey kingdom Kishkinda mentioned in the epic Ramayana. Parked our car and started our exhausting climb. This 'betta' means hill famous as the birth place of Lord Hanuman. At the entrance of betta there are small shops like hand made items, idols, sugar cane, orange pleasant view both side of walk and cow shed. As we move upstairs we see that the hill is surrounded by plantain and paddy fields. One has to climb about 575 steps the summit. While climbing we observe numbers of steps climbed written in steps. Everywhere people chanting "Jai Shri Ram" and accordingly our mind goes chanting "Jai Shri Ram".

Entrance of Anjeyanadri Hill

The climb is safe and quite easy because of the stairway right from the base all the way to the top. Close to the summit, there's a overhanging rock, one has to really bend low to go under it. The hill top is refreshing cool breeze and beautiful sights of Tungabhadra river, green fields, Rashyamukha hill and parts of Hampi. We can see plenty of monkeys live on this hill, in fact they hang around the temple. Tourists and temple visitors feed these monkeys with channa, banana and other eatables. I saw few monkeys even snatch coconuts from visitors and give a scary look.

We had divine darshan of Lord Hanuman and his guru's Lord Ram, Lakshman and Sita. Also read Hanuman Chalisa and relaxed for quite time outside the entrance. Anjanadri is also popular for sunsets view and although experiencing piece of mind at the top of the hills. Now it was time to get down the steps, felt it was so fast because of along the gravity move. Took Lord Hanuman darshan again and started traveling to Hospet.

Altogether it was heavenly experience to ANJEYANADRI BETTA.

Jai Shri Ram. Jai Shri Ram.πŸ™

Thank You for reading.

Have a wonderful and beautiful days ahead.

Live life to Maxout.

See you all soon.
