The Journey to Ooty-December month!! Part 3

Hope all are doing well.

Seasons Greetings! Happy Holiday Seasons. 

Now let's see how it went in day-3 of our journey to Ooty. Before that lets have short recap.

After long ride to tourist attraction places like Benchmark Tea and Chocolate Factory, Pykara Water Falls, Karnataka Siri Garden, Botanical Gardens, Toy Train in Day-2. When you say Toy train, do you all remember the hit song 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' steps on top of the train, yes it's all here. Still count for tourist places where not getting over. Fortunately or unfortunately it was our last day.

Our day-3 started with having breakfast hot fluffy idli's from Fortune Retreats restaurant. We settle up the hotel. Now it was time for shopping. So moved to popular Tibetan Market to purchase woolen sweaters for our parents. And it was all good experience with series of shops, fixed affordable prices, quality one's. Then we moved to purchase spices, Mahadevaswamy (driver) took us to a shop, where we brought all types of Indian spices available each packets. Later moved to Ooty Market place, took cute little Ooty apples, fresh carrots and beautiful flower seeds. Both apples and carrots were so tasty and hygiene. In one of city bakery purchased some fresh temptation chocolates and tea powder too. 

Room Allotted

Nevertheless Ooty Lake- Boat House was calling us. It is an artificially constructed lake with natural surrounding. The rider took boat ride for around 20 minutes to savour the views around. And again yes dream come true, if we are ready to pursue it, long waiting horse ride we had. Amazing king like feeling deep inside and ultimate joy ride. Along with this time was ringing one noon, time for lunch; had mouth-watering biryani at Taj hotel again. 

It was time to leave Ooty to catch up Mysore train at 6:30pm which was booked earlier. So we took route to Ooty-Mysore road along the way visited Wenlock Downs Nature Trail and film shooting point. Spent amazing memorable one and half hour taking snaps and appreciating the nature.

Exactly at 6:15pm reached beautiful city Mysore via Needle Rock View point and Mudumalai Forest. We managed to spot quite some animals and birds on the way.

Ooty is gem, no-one should miss this beautiful place in their life time.
